Current Events Assignment

Due: Friday, Dec.6 in class.

Choose an article from a recent issue (within the last year) of Sky and Telescope or Astronomy magazines. Find a full length article that deals with any topic we have discussed in class. Write a 2 -3 page summary of the article. Discuss how the article relates to what we talked about in class. Discuss how the article advances your knowledge of the subject beyond what we did in class. Not every article that you find will be appropriate. Read a few before you decide which one best relates to class and has new data or information. Both Sky and Telescope and Astronomy are available in Prevo library. Ask at the desk if you are having trouble finding them.

This is a graded assignment, worth 15% of the Aassignments@ part of your final grade.
