Announcements:

1) Check out this nice math review site from Nick Strobel. You should also check out his site on electromagnetic radiation and spectra. It has some very useful diagrams.

2) Advance warning....our first exam is next week wednesday!

Assignments:

1) Bonus Assignment 1: Due Friday in class; Review of constellation websites.   Go to  three of the constellations web sites listed on the links page. Look around each site. Write a review comparing and contrasting the sites. Some questions you might consider are: What information is available on each? How is it presented? Is it easy to use? It it a visually appealing site? Do they have information about viewing the constellation? About the characteristics of the stars? Do they talk about the mythology associated with the constellation? What other interesting information do they have? Which site do you think would be most useful for finding out interesting information about stars and constellations? You might want to make a chart or table to help compare and rate  the info on the sites. Shoot for about  1 to 1.5 pages  for your review.
