Announcements:

1) I am out of town (observing at the Whipple telescope) until late Tuesday night. Terry will be in charge of lab on Tuesday, so look for e-mail from her about the location. There will only be lab if it is clear enough for observing, and lab will start at 8:15 at McKim. You will need your cross staff, quadrant, and compass, as well as star charts. Also, bring the handouts from the last time we tried to go observing (on using the cross staff to triangulate the position of something).

2) For those who like to plan ahead: Look at the week 11 schedule for an assignment due next Monday!

Assignments:

1) Cassini Mission Internet assignment: Due Friday April 12 in class. Cruise around the Cassini mission web site to learn about the mission. Write a one half to one page summary of what you find interesting. Be sure to note when the spacecraft will arrive at Saturn, and some of what it will do. Tell me what you find interesting about the mission.
