Announcements:

1) On Wednesday or Friday we will meet at McKim to observe the Sun through a special solar filter on the telescope.

2)The deadline for the independent observing projects is extended to Tuesday May 14 at noon. This is an absolute deadline! Please respect it!

3) Speaking of the phases of the moon, its not too late to start this project. Its just inconvenient. If you want to get the full two weeks starting now, you need to observe just before sunrise. If you observe at midnight starting now, you can get one week of observations.

4) Reminder: Lab final is next week in lab. This week I will hand out a set of practice problems.

Assignments:

1) Time homework problems due next week!
